We do have a fingerprint scanner on the back, but unfortunately, there is no face unlock. It’s really wonderful to see that an entry-level phone like this actually offers wireless charging. So I really feel like it should be a more common feature. I’m not sure about the wattage because I couldn’t find that information, but I will say that it charges fairly quickly on a wireless charger and very few phones that aren’t flagship phones have this feature. The cricket dream 5g has wireless charging, which is a really cool feature that isn’t too common in phones that aren’t flagship phones. But if you’re not a heavy user and only intend to use the phone for routine everyday tasks, 64 gigabytes should be sufficient, especially since microSD cards are available. If storage is your top priority, you might want to consider finding a device with 128 gigabytes because even in this price range they do exist. I’ve seen phones in this price range with as few as 32 gigabytes, so it’s not too bad. You can do better if you really want to have the most storage possible, it’s not bad either. The cricket dream 5g has 64 gigabytes of internal storage with microSD card expansion. Because everything will appear much larger. So if you’re doing some kind of content consumption like streaming videos or viewing photos or even playing a game it’s gonna look a lot nicer on this display. We got a water drop notch for the front-facing camera and this camera is 13 megapixels.Įven though the display only has 720p resolution, it still looks pretty good, and at 6.82 inches, you’re getting a much larger screen. It has a 6.82-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720p, a PPI of 263, and an aspect ratio of 20.5.9. ![]() In the terms of display, the cricket dream 5g is not very luxurious, but I do believe the phone itself looks pretty great. We can also see frame shifts and an exposure adaptation issue towards the end of the clip when the model turns around. Strong color and exposure instabilities are noticeable between 00:19 and 00:25 are visible. In this sample clip, we can see that at the start of the video the subject is slightly underexposed. Video stabilization does a good job in static scenes and is on a similar level as the competitors. We also noticed frame shift and ringing artifacts in all conditions. Noise is quite visible in all conditions, it’s particularly strong in low light. In low light, an orange cast is more intrusive than on the comparison phones. Our testers also observed some color and white balance instabilities but overall white balance and color rendering are generally accurate when recording in bright light or under typical indoor conditions. The comparison devices below are doing better in this respect. However, in more difficult high-contrast conditions video clips tend to be underexposed.
